Kiddies...er...Kitties

So we bought kitty #2 last weekend. Legato. He he...we get to use a musical term to name our kitty! Yeah! He's much, much calmer than Monkey. That's my kind of pet. Life is stressful enough that I don't need a spastic kitty to raise my stress level when I'm supposed to be relaxing at home. Am I right here? I'm counting down the days until they become "outdoor kittens."

I suspect he may have a kitty cold (which is apparently life-threatening at his age), so we have to keep them apart for a couple of weeks. They were so funny when they were able to play together a little bit. I have no idea how to get the video from a mini-DV tape onto my computer, but I would love to so you could see it. I was scared that Monkey would definitely hurt Legato, but the vet said it would be very unlikely that he could cause him real harm.

Ohhh-kkaaayyyyy....maybe you should watch them play before you make a judgment call like that. It's pretty rough in the land of Monkey. Until he gets neutered in a few weeks. Then he may not have quite so much energy.

I hope.

Aww! I will have to make time to stop in next time! The girls would love to see kitty cats. :)

The rough play is the same with kids, too. :)

You are two cats closer to becoming a cat lady with double digit numbers of felines in your house. I'm just sayin'. :)

I'm sure they are adorable.

I do believe heth is right, and you are becoming an animal lover... before you know it there will be baby goats in the backyard, a puppy to greet you, and perhaps a few ducks, of course. hehe! I love their names!

at first I thought his name was Legato like

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto

but then i realized it was Legato NOT Roboto....but you could totally still sing the song....

ooh mel is right, and goats can "mow" your lawn!!! just watch out for goat...ahem residue... we got Lola the baby kitty about 2 months ago and she is a terror also, knocks over full glasses of water, attacks Lauren's legs as she walks..so on and so on....but she looked so cute at the Flood Zone....

You gotta love kitties pouncing on one another! Brings me back to the good ol' days being in the barn watching the kittens play. On a different note I hear Starbucks calling our names!!! :)

Congrats on another 2nd place finish for Carl! Was that race weird or what?

Every day my husband comes home and asks if I have heard any anouncements about where Newman will be next year. Hopefuly we will hear soon and it will NOT be Stewart/Haas Racing. We will see!

Good Luck at Pocono!
